Obituary

Joseph N. Palladino Jr., 71, of North Canaan, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, July 13th.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph N. Sr. and Margaret (Iovanni) Palladino. A restaurateur, he also was an avid car collector.

Joseph was the devoted father of Joseph W. Palladino and his wife Gina of Southington, Connecticut, and the loving grandfather of Joey and Nico Palladino of Southington, Connecticut. He was the dear brother of Judy Rich and her husband Bryan of Boston and Maria Piccolo and her husband Ronald of Fairfield, Connecticut. Joseph was the cherished uncle of Bryan Jr. and Anthony Rich, both of Boston, Sofia, Guy and Marc Piccolo, all of Fairfield, Connecticut. He is also survived by his long-time companion Sandra Sanders of Canaan, Connecticut, extended family and many loving friends.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, on Monday, July 17th at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 5 through 8PM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph's name may be sent to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
