Charles K. Fortin, 92, of Tiverton died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, Fall River. Born in East Greenwich, RI, he was son of the late Joseph and Esther (Coon) Fortin. A veteran of WWII, he served his country in the United States Navy. He was a self employed fisherman until his retirement. Mr. Fortin was a member of the VFW Woodrow L. Silvia Post 5392, N. Tiverton.
Survivors include a brother: Joseph Fortin of Tiverton; and several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Evelyn Peckham and George Fortin.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton at 10:00 A.M.
