Eleanor A. (Fiore) Yore, age 88, who was a resident of Winchester for most of her life, passed away on July 6, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Yore and the late Peter Giannotti. Eleanor was born, raised and educated in Winchester. She attended St. Mary’s school and graduated from Winchester High. She worked at Wilde Insurance in Winchester for many years and enjoyed working there. She loved her huge family and was dedicated to them above all else. Through the years, Eleanor was very involved with St. Mary’s Parish, whether it be going to mass, volunteering with the CYO, or baking cookies for the priests. She loved her home, and loved to “putter” around out in the yard. Eleanor was also a member of the Winchester Sons of Italy. Eleanor was the loving mother of George K. and Kevin M. Yore, both of Woburn, and the late John P. Yore, Jr., Susan Moynihan and Judy Fleming. She was the dear grandmother of Scott, Kelli, Michelle, Kerry, Kristine, JP, Melissa, Kevin, Jr. and the late Ryan, the dear sister of William Fiore of Stoneham and the late Richard, Robert, Rudy, Louis, Americo “Joe”, Peter, Ralph “Roundy”, Patsy, Antonio, Rose DiTucci, Eva Macario and Susie Fiore. Also survived by her sister-in-law Rose Fiore of Stoneham , 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Monday, July 10, from 4-8PM and again on Tuesday, July 11, at 9AM followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, at 10AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Winchester. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the charity of your choice.
