Rosemarie C. Alfe (Corrao) a life-long Medford resident died suddenly at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford. She was 85. Born and raised in Medford she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Blonda) Corrao. A devoted and loving wife and mother, Rosemarie worked for many years as an administrator for Scaldini Construction Co. She later enjoyed 10 years as a secretary with Medford Public Schools and also worked for several years with Mystic Valley Traders. Rosemarie was active in her community and was especially active with Saint Joseph Parish. She also volunteered and served as a board member at the Medford Senior Center.
The beloved wife of Francis L. Alfe, she was a loving mother to Gerilyn Alfe, DMD of Chicago. She leaves her dear sister, Loretta Evangelista of Malden and is also survived by many devoted nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, July 10th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home, Sunday 2 - 6 PM. Interment will be private.
