On July 4, 2017 Elizabeth “Betty” P. Rich, (nee Mavis) passed away quietly at her home. She is survived by her beloved husband John, a sister Jean and brother John, devoted children Dale and Mark, Caroline, Janice and Libby and loving grandchildren Rebecca, Zachary, Sarah, Jesse, Josh, Seth, Tom, David, James, John, Jr, Chris and 11 great grandchildren.
Elizabeth retired from BG&E in October of 1990 after a stellar career as the company’s first female Supervisor. She loved playing the piano, beaching at Sea Isle City, traveling, and entertaining, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Friends may call at The Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral Home, P.A., 8521 Loch Raven Blvd. (beltway exit 29-B) on Saturday, July 8th, from 6 to 8 P.M. and Sunday, July 9th, from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 P.M. All are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, July 10th, at 10 A.M. in St. Jude’s Shrine, 517 W. Saratoga St.. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
