Stephen Kenney, 52 of West Dennis, Massachusetts, formerly from Whitman, Massachusetts, died unexpectedly at home on June 26th.
Born in Weymouth Massachusetts in 1965, son of Robert and MaryAnne Kenney.
Stephen graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in 1983. He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed his work. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed riding up and down Bass River on Cape Cod in the Zodiac with the family dog, Rocki.
He is preceded in death by his loving Dad, Robert and his grandparents. He was a dedicated, caring son to his Mom, whom he loved with all of his heart. He leaves behind three children, Joshua Tenore of Arlington, Massachusetts; Stephanie Kenney of West Dennis and Ryan Kenney of East Bridgewater. Stephen was so proud of his children and loved them unconditionally. He was the brother of Lisa (Kenney) Maragnano, of Chattanooga, TN formerly from Plympton/Whitman and Michael Kenney of Hanover formerly from Whitman; his nieces and nephews Samantha and Johnathan Maragnano and Kayla Kenney and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stephen was a very generous friend who was always there to help someone who needed it; he will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend services at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, Route 58 at the Rotary in Whitman, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 1st. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 PM.
