Werner Jr., Chelsea Guy, 72, was called home June 27, 2017 in Louisville, KY.
He was born to Chelsea, Sr., and Jean (Bradley) Werner November 6, 1944 in Rawlins, WY.
Chelsea was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in Vietnam. He is retired from the Navy as an Equipment Operator since 1975. Chelsea was a member of the DAV, and a Baptist by faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leonard Werner; and a sister, Wanda Shirley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Linda (Tankersley); a sister, Jeanie Lou Parrish (Hartley); and two nieces, Darlene and Tina Parrish.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; burial is in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday 4:00-8:00 P.M.
