Laconia—Norman “Norm” D. Grimard, 64, most recently of St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 406 Court Street, Laconia, died Sunday, June 25, 2017.
Norm was born in Laconia on March 24, 1953. He was the son of the late Gerard and Florence (Gosselin) Grimard of Laconia.
Norm graduated from Laconia High School in 1971. He went on and continued his education and training in the U.S. Navy until 1980.
Norm’s greatest achievement was his volunteer work at LRGH Healthcare in Laconia.
Norm is survived by his brother, Russell and two sisters, Sandra Grimard and Linda Dutile all of Laconia. Norm leaves behind many cousins and a special aunt, Ida Shepherd, of Dedham, MA. Norm cherished his two nephews, Tim and Jason Dutile of Laconia as well as the boxer dogs and golden retrievers he took for walks around Laconia.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:30 am at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen, NH .
