Barbara J. Pratt, 75, of Pembroke, passed away on June 26, 2017. Her love of immediate and extended family was palpable and unending. There was nothing more gratifying to her than being surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and they loved being around her because she was funny, loving, compassionate, playful, and supportive. We cry because she is gone, but we smile often because she was here.
Beloved wife of Richard Pratt. Loving mother of Richard Pratt, Jr. and his wife Robin of Hanover, Kelly and husband David Eldredge of Kingston, and Kim and her husband David Clark of Plymouth. Daughter of the late Richard and Georgianna (Newcomb) Gray. Sister to Mary Ahigian, Betty Sherman , Kevin Gray, and the late Carol Flanders, Richard Gray , Ronnie Gray, and David Gray. Cherished Grandmother of Chris, Andy, Matt , Kim, David, and Richard, and Great Grandmother to Lyla, Emma, and Fiona.
Barbara is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her extended family and friends.
Memorial visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 29th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A memorial service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Friday, June 30th at 11:00 AM.
