Marjorie A. “Marge” Grady
February 11, 1943 – June 22, 2017

Marjorie A. Grady, 74, passed away at The Arbors in Bedford, NH on June 22, 2017. The daughter of Arthur and Charlotte (Champoux) Bonnin, she was born in Manchester, NH on February 11, 1943. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1960 and received her nursing degree from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1963. She continued her pursuit of being committed to caring for and helping others by receiving her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from New England College in 1993. Throughout her dedicated nursing career, she cared for many while employed at Sacred Heart Hospital, Catholic Medical Center, Optima Health, The Elliot Hospital, and HCTA.

She married her soul mate and the love of her life, John (Jack) M. Grady on August 24, 1963; and they continued their love affair for one another for over 53 years.
She leaves the legacy of her love of caring for family, friends and all others in her life to her three children, Karen G. Labarre and husband James of Manchester, Kevin M. Grady and wife Jill of Scottsdale, AZ, Kathleen G. Smith and husband Scott of Scottsdale, AZ, her nephew who is like a son, Jason Lacombe and wife Kirsten of Seattle, WA; as well as her beloved grandchildren Timothy Labarre, Katelyn Smith, Robbie Labarre, Everett Grady Smith, Jack Lacombe and Charlotte Lacombe, two brothers, Philip Bonnin and his wife Evelyn of Bedford, Kenneth Bonnin and his wife Deborah of Manchester, one sister Janice Ireland of Katy, TX along with many other loving nieces and nephews.


Marge’s life will be celebrated on Monday from 4-7PM at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home located at 110 Bridge St. in Manchester.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM at St. Pius X Church on Candia Road in Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association or The Alzheimer’s Association.

Marge and her family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at The Arbors in Bedford for their exceptional care and compassion during her stay there.
