KELLY, Henry James, 68, a resident of West Roxbury (Boston), Massachusetts passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2017 after a difficult battle with cancer. Henry was a tax accountant in Wellesley and had many close friends and a large extended family. He was beloved by many who enjoyed his sense of humor and kindness. He is survived by his two sons, Kevin J. Kelly and Andrew Kelly of Leominster and his grandchildren, Kevin J. Kelly, Jr. and Abigail Kelly, also of Leominster. Henry was the son of the late James H. Kelly and Josephine Murray Kelly of West Roxbury. Loving brother of Claire Kelly Bench and her husband Robert Bench of Wellesley, Walter J. Kelly and his wife Carolyn Tracy Kelly of West Roxbury, Kenneth J. Kelly and his wife Kathleen Regan Kelly of West Roxbury, Cynthia A. Kelly of West Roxbury and Laura Killian and her husband John of Naples, FL and Harwichport. Also survived by his many cherished nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. He will also be missed by his many cousins. Dear friend of Alicia O’Brien. Henry grew up in West Roxbury, graduated from Our Lady Help of Christians High School in Newton and attended Bentley College. Henry worked in the finance department at Digital Equipment Corp. for many years until going out on his own as a tax accountant. He had a passion for people and was a good listener. He kept in touch and enjoyed his boyhood friends though out his life. He was an avid golfer and played in several golf leagues. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in West Roxbury and enjoyed the company of those he met. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, June 26 at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited.
