Lorice (Peter) Berry, born November 23rd, 1923 passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the age of 93. She was a long-time resident of Norwood, MA. As a loving mother and grandmother she had an undying spirit and irrepressible sense of humor bringing a smile to all who knew her. She spent her final days surrounded by family. Lorice will be remembered by her love of family, music, playing cards and puzzles; her involvement at the Norwood Senior Center; and her undeniable ability to bring humor to others. She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Joseph W. Berry (age 94) of Norwood, MA, her loving daughter Linda Berry of Winthrop, MA; son Steven Berry and his wife Marie of Guilford, CT and son Peter Berry and his wife Andy of Cambridge, MA. She is also survived by her three loving grandchildren; Alexandra, Christina and Samantha Berry of Guilford, CT. She wii be remembered by her sister, Eva Chojnowski (of Norwood, Ma) and brother, Ernie Peter and his wife Sally (of Norwood, Ma) as well as several loved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Phil Peter and Victor Peter. A private memorial service will be held at a future date for the family at her request. There will be no funeral services.
