Beatriz J. (Pimentel) Medeiros, age 86 of North Easton and formerly of Taunton, passed away on June 21, 2017 at Good Samaritan Medical Center with her loving children by her side.
She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Medeiros.
Beatriz was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Rodrigues) Pimentel.
Mrs. Medeiros was a devoted wife , mother and grandmother. She loved her family dearly, especially spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Beatriz was the loving mother of George Medeiros and wife Nancy of East Bridgewater, Gabriela Whitford of North Easton, Nelia Athas and husband Robert of Tyngsboro, MA, Anabela Flanagan and husband Mark, and Bibiana Sneyd and husband Scott both of Taunton. She was the grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 2, sister of Bibiana Cordeiro of Somerville, MA and Eduarda DaPonte of Portugal, and sister of the late Florinda Rodrigues.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday , June 29, 2017 at 9 am from The Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church School St, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 28th from 4 to 7 pm.
