Laconia----Robert R. Little, 82, of Clinton Street, Lakeport died at home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
Mr. Little was born June 16, 1935 in Laconia, the son of Joseph D. and Doris E. (Marden) Little.
Mr. Little was a lifelong resident of Laconia/Lakeport. He attended Laconia High School and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He had been employed in the automotive business for fifty years and was owner of Bob’s Repair. He had also been employed at Watts Regulator for seven years, retiring in October, 1998.
Mr. Little was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Laconia Post # 1470. He was a lifelong mechanic/bodyman and enjoyed farming, traveling and antique cars.
Mr. Little is survived by a son, Robert J. Little, of Laconia; two daughters, Bonnie Mae Donovan of Laconia and April L. Casa, and her husband, Robert of Laconia; seven grandchildren, Joseph Donovan, Corey Donovan, Micah Donovan, Tawni Ford, Ashley Llavina, Andrew Little, and Jarod Casa; six great grandchildren and was grampa to many more; a brother, Herbert J. Little, of San Jose, CA; a sister, Doris M. MacArthur, of Laconia; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Arlene A. (Giguere) Little and by a son-in-law, Brian S. Donovan.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the Whipple Avenue entrance.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:30pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia, N. H.
