MOULTONBOROUGH - Jeffrey Scott Barnard, 62, died in a fire at his home in Moultonborough on Monday, June 19, 2017.
Jeff was born on July 15, 1954 in Chicago, IL., the son of Robert J. and Patricia A. (Keane) Barnard. He attended Goffstown schools before graduating from Proctor Academy in Andover. He earned an Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology from the New Hampshire Vocational Technical College in Portsmouth. Jeff worked for many years as an automotive and boat mechanic in the Lakes Region.
Jeff is survived by his father, Robert J. Barnard of Concord, his siblings Susan L. Irish and her husband Roland R. Irish III of Charlestown, Wendy A. Carlson of Nottingham, David B. Barnard and his wife Brenda M. Barnard of Hopkinton and a number of nieces and nephews.
Jeff was predeceased by his mother, Patricia A. Barnard and his brother-in-law, Noel C. Carlson.
Jeff will be greatly missed by many, including his good friends Melissa Winsor and Bob and Melanie Schofield.
Calling hours will be held from 1Pm to 4Pm on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A private ceremony will be held by family at a later date.
