Mary Patricia “Pat” Thompson Wallace, 75, of Lenox passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Wallace at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017, at McMillan Cemetery in Lenox, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with a eulogy given by Randy Cone. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Wallace’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Born January 16, 1942 in Tifton, Mrs. Wallace was the daughter of the late William Henry Thompson and Narcissa McMillan Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Wallace; one brother, Buddy Thompson; and one sister, Lilly Mae Waites. She was a retired computer technician and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Christian Lee and Sonya McMillan of Tampa, Florida and Randy and Brenda Cone, Greg and Rhonda Lawson and William Henry Lawson, all of Lenox; one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Terry Walker of Jeffersonville, Indiana; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
