Obituary

Paull, Mary Jane of Hyannis, Weston, and Framingham died peacefully Tuesday June 20, 2017 after a long illness. She was born March 9, 1938 in Boston, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Donovan. She graduated from Mission Church High School, Regis College, UMASS Boston, and Fitchburg State, worked for Liberty Mutual, and taught as a Sister of St. Joseph for fourteen years. Mary was an adjunct Professor at UMASS Boston and taught in Boston Public Schools at McCormack Middle School and Charles Taylor Elementary in Mattapan. Mary Jane met her husband Seymour Paull at Mosely's. Sy deceased in 2011. Survivors include her stepchildren Kenneth Paull and Diane Paull Katsif, her brother Rickard Donovan and his wife Judith, sister Anne Bae, nephews: Sean, Mark, and Neil Donovan, Stephen and David Bae, and nieces Marie Mullen and Elizabeth Mehta. Mary Jane was a loving, giving woman always thoughtful of family and friends.

Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St, Wellesley, Friday June 23 from 9:30-10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, 502 Washington St, Wellesley at 11am. Interment will be at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA on Friday June 23 at 1:45pm. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Mary Jane’s memory to the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged & Infirm at St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St, Framingham, MA 01701.
