Obituary

Rev. Donald Ray Holliman, 72, of Anderson died unexpectedly on June 18, 2017 at his residence.

Rev. Holliman was born March 18, 1945 in Heber Springs, Ark the son of Noonon and Theeril (Cranford) Holliman.

He served in the United States Navy.

He was a janitor at Delco Remy Division of General Motors 30 years.

He received his associate degree in counseling at Ball State University and he received his ministry degree from Lesea Ministry. He was an ordained minister and counselor for Alpha Crisis Pregnancy Center and Families Forever Radio Show, "Healthy Families in an unhealthy world" co-hosted with Dennis Coppock. He would hold afternoon Sunday services at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown. He was an avid reader and had a puppet show "Joyful Noise Ministry" and collected World War II memorabilia.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Melanie (Gulmire) Holliman; son, Mark Holliman of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Donda (Brian) Willenburg of Fulton, MO; sister, Linda (Tom) Krause of Ohio; brother, Kenneth Holliman of Middletown,; eight grandchildren, Tara (Robert, Jr.) Frasher, Elisa (Crayton West) Willenburg, Brinan Willenburg, Riley Willenburg, Raysean Franklin, Clarine Franklin, Xavian Holliman and Bianca Holliman; several nieces and nephews and beloved dog, "Minnie"
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dwane Holliman, great granddaughter, Maya Jade West.
Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Alethia Fellowship & Ministry Center with Revs. Gary McCaslin and Bob Henderson officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family.
