Betty Jean Register Marshall, 80 of Tifton went to be with her Lord on June 18, 2017 from the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton. A memorial service will be held for Ms. Marshall at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Ms. Marshall will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends Friday, June 23, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born March 17, 1937 in Berrien County, Ms. Marshall was the daughter of the late Leon Glenn Register and Estelle Mae Smith Register. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ken Register; and three sisters, Irene Stewart, Joyce Zentz and Faye Williams. She was a homemaker and she loved the Lord, her family and was a caregiver to many in her younger years.
Ms. Marshall is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley of Tifton; two brothers, William Elzie Register of Tifton and Donald Register of Miami, Florida; three sisters, Iris Williams of West Berrien, Virginia Exum of Tifton and JoAnn Usry of Aiken, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Russ Crumley and wife Courtney and Hannah Crumley; and one great-granddaughter, Paisley Ann Crumley.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to a charity of choice.
