William Connolly, better known as Everett, 86, beloved husband of Marian for over 64 years passed away June 17, 2017 at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London, CT. He was born September 24, 1930 in New London, CT. He was the son of the late John and Anna Connolly. He graduated from New London High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from General Dynamics.
He is survived by his wife, Marian, daughter Sharon Connolly and her fiancé, Michael Lame, Son Jeffrey Connolly and his wife Laura, granddaughters Sari Palumbo and her husband Michael, Nichole Richman and her husband Daniel, Gwenyth Connolly and Eliza Connolly, and three great granddaughters, Charlotte and Claire Richman, and Skylar Palumbo. He was predeceased by his siblings Elizabeth DeCourcey, Joseph Connolly and Robert Connolly. Everett also leaves behind his dear extended family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family. Rest in peace my love.
Everett's family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 20 from 6 to 8pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday at the funeral home at 11:00am. Burial will be private for the family.
