Pearl M. (Lawler) Pallatroni, 86, of New Bedford passed away Sunday June 11, 2017 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of James E. Pallatroni; they had been married for 65 years.
Born in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary (Power) Lawler, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life. She had also resided in Enfield, NH and wintered in Fort Pierce, Florida for many years.
Mrs. Pallatroni was formerly employed as a medical secretary for Dr. Max Weinshel until her retirement.
She was a graduate of Holy Family High School and Fisher Junior College.
She is survived by her husband; five children, Nora Marinelli and her husband Robert of New Bedford, Lawrence Pallatroni and his wife Kathleen of Dartmouth, Patrick Pallatroni and his wife Judith of Bedford, NH, Margaret O'Reilly and her husband Kevin of Meriden, NH, and Nicholas Pallatroni of Fairhaven; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren;
She was the mother of the late Joseph Pallatroni, grandmother of the late Kevin Marinelli, and sister of the late Gerald Lawler.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
