Joan M. (Donovan) Manning, age 78, of Natick, has left this world on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, at the Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick.
She was brought up in Watertown and moved to Natick to raise her family. Joan worked for Filene's as an office manager for many years and later worked for Healthcare Publishing in Natick, up until her death.
Joan was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen (Flynn) & John Donovan; her loving husband, Kenneth F. Manning (who passed away in 1999) and her loving son, Kenneth Manning (who passed away in 2012).
Joan, a wonderful, kind and funny woman, is survived by her children, Jack & Mary Manning of Shrewsbury, Michelle Manning & Richard Fowler of Natick, Richard Manning of Natick and Steven Manning of Natick; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Manning of New Hampshire; three sisters, Mary Kelly, Kathy Ussiglio and Claire Rooney; her adoring grandchildren, Patrick Manning of Natick, Sam, Erin, Julie and Grace Manning all of Shrewsbury as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Patrick's Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, NATICK COMMON, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 4:00-7:00 PM.
Interment services will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Boulevard, Bourne, on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 2:00 PM.
