Laconia----Catherine " Cathy" A. Perkins 64, a resident of the Sunrise Towers went to the Kingdom of the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
Catherine was born on October 15, 1952 in Meredith, the daughter of Richard and Catherine (Jobin) Perkins. She was raised and educated in Meredith, New Hampshire. Cathy was a 1971 graduate of Inter-lakes High School, and was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region. Before becoming physically disabled Cathy was employed at Lakes Region Linen.
Cathy was a loving, compassionate and caring person who treasured her children and grand-children. She cared most for common people, for what they were and not for their material value. She loved animals and all living things. Cathy was a good heart and a rich spirit. Cathy was very fond of the residents of the Sunrise Towers and enjoyed being a part of the activities program and socializing with her fellow neighbors.
Cathy is survived by two daughters, Anna Perkins of Laconia and Antionette Perkins Boisvert of Tuscan, AZ; five grandchildren, Katherine, Gary, Naomi, Autumn and Jasmin; four sisters, Donna Giles of California, Sharon Labraney and her husband, Roger of Northfield, Peggy Tetreault and her husband Matthew of Laconia and Dawn Durand of Steven of Meredith and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother, Frank S. Perkins and three sisters, Arnita Tittle, Betty Norwood and Deborah Bowen.
