Obituary

Dr. Conrad A. Cadoret, currently of Norton, MA died on June 14, 2017. Dr. Cadoret was born in Woonsocket, in 1918 and was the son of Adelbert and Elinda Cadoret. He is survived by his wife Barbara (McCutcheon) Cadoret. He was the widower of Gladys (Erikson) Cadoret, who died in 1984. He leaves daughters Joyce LaCroix (Larry) and Lorraine Cadoret (Tanya), step-son Gregg McCutcheon (Fran) , grandchildren Jeremy and Molly and several nieces and nephews. His brothers Roland and Raymond predeceased him.

Dr. Cadoret served in World War II as a medic in France, Germany, and Austria. He practiced optometry in Woonsocket for 50 years and was a longtime member of the Woonsocket Kiwanis Club. In his younger days, he was a musician and played at a Block Island hotel for several summers.

He was a devoted, loving husband and father. He was very kindhearted and a true gentleman in every sense. He enjoyed nothing more than family gatherings, especially when he and his brothers could all get together. They shared the same hilarious sense of humor. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed traveling, playing golf and listening to big band music. Funeral arrangements are private.
