In Taunton, June 14, 2017 Manuel Nunes “Buck” Perry, Age 85, Passed away in Wedgemere Nursing Home while surrounded by his loving family. Manuel is survived by his loving wife Carolyn (Macomber) Perry of Raynham. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Manuel & Eugenia (Cabral) Perry. Manuel had resided in Raynham since 1985 and was formerly of Taunton. He attended Taunton schools. Manuel, known as Buck to his friends and family served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed for the City of Taunton as a fire fighter and also owned and operated Perry Electric. Buck is survived by his children, Thomas Perry and his wife Carol Hunter of Desmoines, Iowa, Brenda Finnigan and her husband William of Taunton, Donna Parker and her husband Steve of FL, Michael Perry of Newport, RI and his late son Jeffrey N. Perry. Buck also leaves his stepchildren Cheryl Proulx of Raynham and Lois DeMoura of East Taunton. Buck also leaves his sister Jennie Bradshaw of Taunton. He also leaves his 12 loving grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, June 19th at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be in Westville Cemetery in Taunton.
