Findlen and his wife Maryann of Canton, Nancy Findlen Saraf and her husband Thomas of Bellingham, and Kelly Findlen Hiltz of Pympton. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brother of Robert Findlen and his wife Margaret of Canton, Frederick Findlen and his late wife Rosella of Dedham, Marion Power and her late husband Jack of Falmouth, Eleanor Gallagher and her husband Phil of Plainville, Diane Garrow and her husband Charles of N. Attleboro, and James Findlen of Baldwinville. Predeceased by Parents Frederick J. and Marion (Curtis) Findlen and brothers Leo and Peter Findlen.

Dedham Town meeting member, Chairman of District 4 & 6. Original Employee representative to the Carpenters Union. Sponsored Dedham Little League, Chairman of the Cemetery Committee, member of the Endicott Estate Committee. True love of the town of Dedham. Sergeant in the United States Air Force 1950-54.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Saturday, June 17 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home Friday, June 16 from 4-8pm. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
