Obituary

Albert Auburn of North Hill, Needham formerly of Wellesley, son of Kazar and Zartig Abrahamian died peacefully on June 10, 2017 at the age of 99. Born in Watertown.

Predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years Marion Rae Auburn and seven brothers and sisters. Survived by his two adoring daughters Pamela Auburn of Houston TX and Cynthia Auburn of NYC.

Al practiced law in Wellesley from 1953 until three weeks prior to his death. He was educated at Suffolk Law School after serving in the Army Air Corp as a bombardier in the pacific theater in World War II. He retired from the US Air Force reserves in the 1977 having attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Al served as a selectman in Wellesley for many years and was an active member of the Kiwanis club there.

A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 309 Washington St., (Rt.16), Wellesley Hills on Friday, June 23 at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
