Joan (Skaff) Murray, age 82 of Methuen passed away on June 9, 2017. Joan was born in Methuen on June 20, 1934 to the late Albert and Ella (Mullen) Skaff. She was a graduate of Methuen High School, Class of 1952. Joan enjoyed daily trips with her husband Frank to the ocean. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she always made time to attend every family gathering.
Joan was the beloved wife of Frank Murray with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. She was the dear sister of Claire Mellor and her husband David of Methuen. Joan was the devoted aunt of Donna Welch and her husband Shaun of Salem, NH, and James Mellor and his wife Alicia of Salem, NH. She was the cherished great aunt of Caitlin and her husband Adam, David, Stephen, and Sarah and the loving great great aunt of Mason and Daniel. Joan is also survived by her aunt Arlene Marcucci
Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, immediately following the calling hours, beginning promptly at 12:00 Noon.
