Peter Adrian Dilis, Jr., 67, died June 8 at Milford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by family. He was born May 27, 1950 in Boston, son of Peter A. Dilis, Sr. and Agnes (Kohler) Dilis. He was a 1968 graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood and a 1972 graduate of Providence College, where he earned a degree in Social Work. He received Master's and CAGS degrees in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College in 1984. Peter was employed for over 40 years as a Clinical Caseworker and Court Liaison for United Services, Dayville, CT and Northern Rhode Island Community Services, Woonsocket, RI.
He was the beloved husband of Alice M. (Casey) Dilis for 34 years, the beloved father of Erin Elise (Dilis) Klemm and her husband, Karl Francis Klemm of Marlborough, and the proud grandfather of Franziska Elise Klemm. Peter was the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
His memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 12 in St. Mary’s Church, Milford at 10:00a.m.
Burial will be private.
