Obituary

Charles M. Studley, 80, of Walpole, died, Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Dedham. He was the beloved husband of Christine C. (Champey) Studley for 42 years and is also survived by his son Matthew Graham Studley of Foxboro and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Mary Creaser and Sally Baumgardner.

Born in Dalton, Massachusetts on July 13, 1936, he was the son of the late Lisle and Mary (Flynn) Studley.

Mr. Studley was a resident of Walpole for 40 years. He proudly served in the Army for 2 years and had earned a Bachelor’s Degree from UMass Amherst.

Before his retirement, he worked for the federal government at the General Services Administration for 30 years.

Mr. Studley enjoyed spending time with his son, Matthew at his group home in Foxboro and loved his dog, Manny.

Funeral services will take place privately at the request of his family.
