FALL RIVER – Rosemary De Costa, age 82 of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fall River, she was the wife of the late Alfred Joseph De Costa and the daughter of the late Manuel & Gertrude (Almeida) Costa. Prior to retiring, Rosemary worked as a Seamstress in the Garment Mfg. Industry.
Survivors include her children: Alfred De Costa (wife Maria) of Fall River, Patricia Cressy (husband Kevin) of Rutland, VT, Wayne De Costa of Fall River, Donna Corey of Fall River, Robin Baker of Providence, RI, Carl De Costa of Fall River, Wendy De Costa of Fall River, Mark De Costa (wife Martha) of Fall River; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 with calling hours from 8:30 – 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the fam
