Margie “Marti” Ann Kimball was born in Mesa, AZ on February 12, 1948. She went home to be with our Lord on June 3, 2017 at the Elderwood at Riverside Nursing Home in East Providence, RI. after a courageous battle with cancer.
Marti had an unwaivering faith in God. She was a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship in Plainville, MA where she enjoyed singing and fellowship with her church family. Marti also loved nature and the beauty it offered. She worked with some wonderful people at the Conservation Commission for the Town of Seekonk part time after retiring from the Hilsinger Company in Plainville, MA.
Marti was predeceased by her parents Wayne Paul Garr, and Wilma Myrtle (Todd) Garr. She was also predeceased by her sister Sherry (Garr) Leighton.
Marti is survived by her son Jason Kimball and his wife Jackelyn of Attleboro, and her son Brian Kimball and his wife Amanda of Pawtucket. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Malakai, Theo, Ian, Cayden, and Lilliana. She is also survived by her sister Becky (Garr) Jeanette and her husband Chris of Limerick, ME. As well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Special thank you would like to be extended to her son Brian and his wife Amanda, and to her niece Christina Labelle who were able to open their homes to assist in the care of Marti when it was necessary. Also a special thanks to the care team at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence, RI for all of their support and care for Marti.
A Celebration of Marti's Life will be held at the Assembly of God church at 1052 Newport Ave, South Attleboro, MA 02703 on Saturday June 10 at 2pm.
