Obituary

Mr. Raymond G. Lamarre, of The Colony, Texas, entered into rest unexpectedly March 18, 2017. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris A. (Rocheleau) Lamarre. He was born 75 years ago in Central Falls, R.I., the son of the late Wilfred and Beatrice (Hebert) Lamarre. He was educated at the LaSallette Monastery in Attleboro, Ma., and had been a Texas resident for many years. Prior to his retirement, Raymond had been employed as a Deacon for St. Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewisville, Tx. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was active in the Knight Light Charities. He enjoyed assembling model cars, traveling, expecially with his late wife, Doris, and listening to religious music, especially the Gregorian Chant. He was a communicant of St. Phillip the Apostle Church.

He leaves: 1 daughter: Beth Ann Lamarre of Decatur, Tx.; 1 brother: Roger Lamarre and his wife, Elaine of R.I.; 1 sister: Pauline Raymond and her husband, Kenneth of R.I., and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Jude the Apostle Church, 249 Whittenton St., Taunton, at a time and date to be announced. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton is assisting with the arrangements.
