Jenna Ziemba, age 42, passed away on May 30, 2017 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. She was born on Dec. 31, 1974 in Springfield, MA. She leaves behind a heartbroken mother Pamela (Ziemba) Fusco and husband Gary of Stafford, CT; sister Katherine Sanchez and husband Nicholas of Enfield, CT; her niece Olivia Sanchez and grandmother Carolyn D. Ziemba of Springfield; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, none of whom expected to have to say goodbye so soon. Jenna worked for many years in the restaurant industry in the Northampton/Amherst area, most recently at Fratelli’s in Amherst. She has developed a strong circle of friends along the way, and we know they are grieving with us. Anyone who knew Jenna knows how witty and charming she could be. She had an infectious smile and warming soul that radiated every room she entered. Jenna had a love for animals and hiking in the outdoors. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
