Lisa Scalley 55 of Lawrence MA passed away May 27, 2017 surrounded by her family and loved ones after a courageous battle with a medical illness. The daughter of Paul & Elizabeth Shaw (both deceased); she was born on March 19, 1962. Lisa loved animals, relaxing at the beach and the beauty of the mountains. She traveled to Alaska with her mother fulfilling a life long dream. She was best known for her contagious laugh, giving soul, and kind heart. She always seemed to have the time to listen and laugh with others, despite her own physical challenges. A courageous personality, “hard hitter”, and “do it her own way” girl, never letting any challenge overpower her, and always getting up for the next fight, including her last on May 27, 2017. She was a true survivor, and an inspiring example of enjoying what is really important in life…..living!
