Swansburg and Linda Sabatula of Andover, Mary Ellen DeFuria and her husband John of Wilmington, and Kathleen A. Swansburg of Winthrop. Adored grandfather of Donald IV and Kevin Swansburg and Ashley and Steven DeFuria. Dear brother of George F. Swansburg and his wife Diane of Hales Location, NH, Edward P. Swansburg and his wife Esther of Lynnfield, and John R. Swansburg and his wife Cheryl of Prides Crossing. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Thurs, June 1, at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited. Please go directly to church. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). At the request of the family, there are no visiting hours. Donations in his name can be made to a charity of your choice. Donald was a veteran serving in the U. S. Marine Corps. He was a dedicated Boston Bruins Fan having being a season ticket holder for 50 years. Donald was the owner of Beacon Sales Roofing Supplies.
