Eddie is survived by his only child Patrick McAloney, aged 16. Anyone that understood Eddie knew that Patrick (Roo) was his favorite person, his hero and the true keeper of his heart. Eddie is also survived by his mother Linda Parker, step-father Warren Parker, his sister Ellen Bauer and her husband Greg. Loving uncle of Aaron, Avery and Audrey. Eddie was dearly loved by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Cherised son of the late Barry McAloney.
Eddie was known for his love of boxing becoming an amateur in 1990 and going Pro in 1995. During Eddie’s sensational career he won 13 fights 5 of which where KO’s. Eddie was very exciting to watch in the ring and was extremely passionate about boxing. He taught hundreds of children how to box for fitness and self-confidence.
To know Eddie was to know that he loved to talk about sports, his son, family and friends. Eddie enjoyed all the experiences life had to offer and frequently kept old ticket stubs from a game, photos of great times and hand written notes from family and friends.
