Keith D. Baptiste, 61 of New Bedford died May 22, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the son of Janice M. Rose of New Bedford and the late Richard Baptiste, he lived in Seattle for many years before returning to New Bedford 6 months ago.
He was formerly employed by Convergent Outsourcing LLC for many years until his retirement.
Keith was a generous, caring family man with a good sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing and music. He was an avid Boston Celtics and New England Patriots fan.
Survivors include his mother; 2 sons, Dana Baptiste of Spokane, WA and Devin Baptiste of Seattle, WA; a daughter, Alea Baptiste of Seattle, WA; a sister, Antoinnette Rose of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Tahj Baptiste and Ava Baptiste; 2 nephews, Jason Rose of New Bedford and Shaun Curley of Randolph.
His funeral arrangements will be private.
