Holladay, Kenneth Reed, 89, passed away Sunday, May 21st, 2017.
He is survived by his daughter Sue (Charles) Geraghty; his son, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Richard (Ric) Holladay; a brother, Kermit (Sharon) Holladay; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces; and a close friend, Charlotte.
He was an active member of Shively Christian Church. He was a devoted husband of Violet, for 43 years who proceeded him in death, a loving father, and adoring grandfather, and an avid fisherman. He will be deeply missed. He retired from General Electric with 35 years of service.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24th from 2:00-8:00pm; Thursday, May 25th after 9am at Owen Funeral Home at 5317 Dixie Hwy, The funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given to Shively Christian Church or Aldersgate Renewal Ministries.
