MEREDITH - Annelise M. Schroeder, 97, of Meredith, formerly of Manchester and Moultonborough, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Golden View Health Care Center.
She was born in Germany, the daughter of the late Ernest and Louise (Weege) Waldman. Annelise was a 1937 graduate of Manchester High School West where she was Valedictorian and was a 1940 graduate of Elliot School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse, most recently for Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia. She enjoyed traveling to Alaska and gardening. Annelise was known as being an excellent grandparent.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Edna Schroeder of Laconia, three grandchildren; Evan Schroeder of Columbus, Ohio, Eric Schroeder of Laconia and Michael Schroeder of Auburn, MA., five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alwin Schroeder and her son, Fred Schroeder.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave, Manchester, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
