JOHN GORDON “GORDY” LOVE, 71, passed away on May 20, 2017.
He was a retired electrician for IBEW Local Union 369, attended Flaget High School, was a member of the electricians Rod and Gun Club Local 369, a member of the NRA, and St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
John loved life and hunting on his farm was his passion.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Clair “Curly” and Dorothy Love.
Survivors include his sisters, Karlyn “Bunny” Slater and LaDonna Walls (Rusty).
His funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive with burial in Louisville Memorial Garden West.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
