Obituary

Patricia B. (Brunnick) Gerry, of Marlborough, formerly of Wayland, Clinton, and Natick, died peacefully on Thursday afternoon, May 18, 2017 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She was 82.

Born and raised in Brighton, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Helen J. (Keating) Brunnick. Patricia was a graduate of Saint Columbkille School where she forged a number of friendships that she maintained throughout her life.

Patricia worked for New England Telephone prior to marrying and settling in Natick to raise her family. Later, Patricia began a 25-year career with the Digital Corporation, where she was promoted to Project Manager. A transfer to the Westminster office in the 1980s prompted her move to Clinton, and she finished her career working with Verizon. A hardworking and dedicated mother, Patricia enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren and lived to see the addition of four great-grandchildren to her family.

She is survived by her six children, Patrice A. Roberts and her husband Francis of Natick, Michelle J. Gillespie and her husband David of Northborough, Paul J. Gerry, Jr., and his wife Kitty of Natick, Jacqueline Gerry of Miami, FL, Thomas J. Gerry of West Palm Beach, FL, and Charlene Koagel and her husband Tom of St. Petersburg, FL; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Justin, Jimy, Frankie, Kendra, Ryan, Kate, Alex, Paul, Kimberly, Jack, John, and Kathryn; her great-grandchildren, Danny, Henry, Theodore, and James; her sister, Mary Rogan, of Northborough; her cousin, Tim Brenock, of Wayland; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Rev. Thomas Brunnick, Daniel Brunnick, and Leo Brunnick.

A Mass will be offered in Saint Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, on Friday, May 26th at 10:00A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow at Belmont Cemetery, 121 Grove Street, Belmont, at 12:00P.M.
