Mary (Fonseca) Botelho, age 87, of Fall River, passed away on Friday May 19, 2017. She was the wife of the late John Botelho and daughter of the late Manuel and Eva (Petit) Fonseca. Mary enjoyed watching her soap operas, visiting her friends at A Cut Above hair salon and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters; Sandra Gadsby (husband Robert), and Linda Clark, siblings Manuel and Albert Fonseca, Helen Godshall, Theresa Gillitti, and Anna Rose McGreavy, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was also the mother of the late John Botelho Jr., mother in law of the late Jack Clark, and sister of the late Roland and Russell Fonseca, and Emily McNabb.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael’s Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M.
