Obituary

D’Arigo, Louis E., age 98, of Quincy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18th. Mr. D’Arigo was born and raised in Braintree. He was a Braintree High School graduate, served with the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Navy during WW II, and was a retired employee of Armstrong Cork Co. He enjoyed gardening, was an avid traveler and sports fan following his “favorite local sports teams.” Mr. D’Arigo had an interest in Meteorology. He tracked the weather daily, keeping a personal journal of the weather activity. The beloved husband of the late Antoinette (Pusateri), he was the devoted father of Steven D’Arigo of Quincy, dear brother of the late Anna Siemsen, Rita Reardonson, Tresa Aaron, Stuart and Joseph D’Arigo, and uncle of many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, West Quincy on Wednesday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to
