In Taunton, May 18, 2017 Thomas J. Dooley husband of the late Ann (Massey) Dooley died after a period of failing health at Marion Manor Nursing Home in Taunton at the age of 92. Born in Taunton, Thomas was the son of the late Thomas J. and Anna (Cavanaugh) Dooley. He was a graduate of St Mary’s Grammar School and Monsignor Coyle High School in Taunton. Thomas was retired from Raytheon Corporation in the production control department for thirty years. He enjoyed sports, working on his home and above all his family. Thomas was the father of Ann Lavigne and her husband Eugene of Taunton and Patricia Dooley of Taunton. Grandfather of seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Brother of the late Joseph W. Dooley, Helen L. Galligan, Louis T. Dooley, Marjorie A. Laughlin, Donald J. Dooley and Natalie M. Fitton. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Monday, May 22nd at 9 am. A Mass will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10 am. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4-7 pm. Interment St Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
