Laconia------Priscilla Fecteau, 85, of Gillette Street, died Tuesday, May 15, 2017 at the Peabody Home, Franklin, surrounded by her loving family.
Priscilla was born May 15, 1932 in Laconia, NH, daughter to the late Arthur and Beatrice (Paquette) Fecteau. She worked as an engineer for the New England Telephone Company for 38 years. Priscilla was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America for many years.
Priscilla enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as being an active member of Sacred Heart Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister for a number of years and also taught vacation bible school.
Priscilla is survived by four brothers, Maurice Fecteau of Laconia, Ralph Fecteau and his wife, Doris also of Laconia, Gerard "Joe" Fecteau and his wife, Virginia "Ginny" of Franklin and Arthur Fecteau Jr. and his wife, Suzanne of Tilton; two sisters, Carmen Sanborn of Laconia and Marcella Albee of East Aurora, NY and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her infant brother, Jean, her brother Paul Fecteau; a sister, Monique Groux; and two brothers-in-law, Erwin "Sam" Sanborn and Ross Albee and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Fecteau.
Calling hours will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 from 9:00am - 11:00am at Saint Andre Besstte Parish - Sacred Heart church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following calling hours at 11:00am also at Sacred Heart Church.
