Oletha Harrell Brady, 57, of Douglas, Georgia, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Big Creek Baptist Church, in Irwin County, Georgia, with Bobby Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Brady was born April 14, 1960, in Coffee County, Georgia, to Letha Reliford Tucker of Irwin County and the late Alfred Harrell. She moved to Douglas in 2007 from Fitzgerald. She enjoyed fishing, reading, gardening, sunning and road trips. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them. Mrs. Brady worked in home healthcare. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Anthony Richardson of Fitzgerald, David West & Alicia of Brantley County, Lena West of Ocilla and Dorsey West of Irwin County; grandchildren: Bailey Richardson, Kaden Richardson, Ariel Richardson, Gavin Richardson, Hayden West, Zoie West, Hunter West, Harrison West, Brian Walls and Makaila Walls; two brothers, Randall Hollinger of Coffee County and Alfred Harrell, Jr. & Crystal of Irwin County; and two sisters: Mary Tucker & Lee of Rochelle and Phyllis Moore & Jimmy of Greenwood, Mississippi. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a nephew: Brian Tucker.
