Brockton - Laura L. Coad 47, died Sunday May 14 after a brave battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Brockton she was the beloved daughter of Patricia (Allegra) Allen of Brockton and the late Herbert F. Allen, Jr.
Laura was a graduate of Southeastern Tech and had furthered her education graduating with her Associate’s Degree from Lincoln Teck. She had attended the Labaron Academy in Brockton and had worked as a hairdresser and nail tech at Hair Flair of Brockton. She had also been a message therapist for Elements of Canton, and had worked at Chadwicks Clothing as well.
She enjoyed crafting and loved collecting her “Hippos”.
In addition to her mother Patricia, she is survived by her daughters Amanda and Emily Macuch of Brockton, her sisters Tina Allen of Hanover and Stephanie Coad-Dineen of Florida and her companion Robert Ramsey of Brockton. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Sarahbeth, Richard, Jeffrey, Michael and Lillian.
Her services will be held Friday May 19 at 7:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 4:00-7:00 PM.
