Obituary


Fleming, John J. “Cadillac Jack” of West Roxbury, formerly of Charlestown, passed away May 15, 2017 after a lengthy stay at Marian Manor in South Boston. Beloved brother of Mary M. Foley and her husband Ed of Dedham, Daniel Fleming and his wife Margaret of Reading, Shirley Amer of Hyde Park, and Barbara Fleming of Somerville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday May 18, at 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Theresa Chapel at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Wednesday May 17, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

Korean War Army Veteran. Jack was a Long Shore Man, a Stevedore, a Fisherman, Security Supervisor at MIT, Restaurant owner in East Boston. A member of the Charlestown Knights of Columbus and a member of the BPOE Elks # 10.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in his memory to The Carmelites Nuns at Marian Manor, 130 Dorchester St. South Boston, MA 02127.
