Obituary

Geraldine M. “Geri” (Behan) Fraser 62, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, died peacefully, at her home, Sunday May 14, 2017, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Timothy W. “Tim” Fraser.

Born January 20, 1955 in Merced, California a daughter of the late Frank S. and Helen L. (van Valkenbury) Behan, she was a former longtime resident of Franklin and Blackstone before moving to Woonsocket several years ago.

She was raised and educated in Franklin, where she was a 1973 graduate of Franklin High School. She also attended Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester. Until her illness forced her to retire, she worked at the call center for Home Depot in Mansfield.

Geri enjoyed decorating, watching TV, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband of 25 years, she is survived by 2 sons; Aaron S. Kelly and his wife Jill of San Francisco, California and Michael G. Fraser of Douglas, 2 brothers, Alan Behan of South Carolina, Randall Behan of Connecticut, a half brother Scott Taylor of Connecticut, and a sister Nancy Marando.

She also is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Aislyn Fraser, Dezmond & Luca Kelly, many nieces, nephews, her “Sistas” and her “coffee chat group”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Wednesday May 17th at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 4-7PM.

Her services and interment will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the American Diabetes Association Eastern New England Office 330 Congress St. 5th Floor Boston, MA 02210.
